Abstract
An adaptive system, based on Genetic Programming, has been designed for the generation of tin plating setups. As a key part of the system, a modelling subsystem has been developed. This paper if focused on this subsystem for the generation of models, based on process variables. The models generated should allow a better control of the tin plate thickness and provide information about the internals of the tin plating process.
