Abstract :
This paper presents a fundamental analysis of active ripple fìlters for power circuits operating in the 1–10 MHz range. The improved understanding derived from this analysis allows niter circuits with gains 5 to 10 times higher than previously reported to be built. Beside pro-viding further reduction in the size of 1 MHz ripple fìlters, these higher gains make the active filters valuable for power circuits switching near 10 MHz.
