Abstract :
This paper presents a hybrid technique of data embedding which consists of one-third probability embedding and least significant bit (LSB) replacement methods. The limitation of one-third probability embedding is that it has the limited data hiding capacity. This capacity can be increased by making use of human visual system (HVS) which is less sensitive towards the edges than smooth regions. The improved performance of the proposed method is verified through extensive simulations.
