Abstract
In TDD system, since transmission and reception shared same propagation channel, therefore it is assumed that the uplink channel and the downlink channel has reciprocity. But error of hardware technology and nonlinear distortion of the amplifier will lead to the channel reciprocity damage. Therefore, we need to calibrate the antenna to reduce the error. We have established an antenna calibration model and evaluated how the antenna calibration errors affect the system performance. Simulation results show that the impact of antenna calibration error on the average spectral efficiency and the cell edge spectral efficiency in CoMP system is less than 5%. That is, antenna calibration error just have limited impact on CoMP performance.
