Abstract
In this paper we consider the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) multiple access channel with antenna correlation at the transmitter and receiver. The propagation channels between transmitters and receivers are modelled according to the Kronecker model. We derive the specific deterministic equivalent of ergodic capacity and the optimal precoding matrices based on large dimensional random matrix theory (RMT). Simulations confirm the theoretical claims and also indicate that in different fading scenarios the results applied to a finite number of antennas give good approximations.
