Abstract :
In this paper we present a new TMUX based on linear phase modulated filter banks (MFBs). It is shown that in contrary to TMUX based on cosine MFB the presented one does not require computationally intensive channel equalisation by linear combining. Simple frequency-domain equalisation is enough because of exponential sine/cosine modulation, special choice of prototype filter and division of transmitted data into disjoint blocks. As it is shown this technique also enables low system delay, high immunity to NEXT and narrow band interference as well as low implementation cost.
