Abstract
This paper shows how to modify a recently introduced reference governor (RG) scheme [1], when its computational time is comparable or greater than the sampling period. It is shown that all relevant RG properties still hold true in the presence of a significant computational delay, though a tracking performance degradation may occur. Simulations results are presented so as to exhibit the effects due to the computational delay.
