Abstract :
Since a decade, higher order direction finding (DF) methods have been developed for non gaussian signals. However, relatively few papers have been devoted to the performance analysis of these methods. The purpose of this paper is to present a geometrical analysis of the potential performance of these methods trough the new concept of "equivalent array", which makes possible the prediction of some of their performance.
