Abstract :
In this paper, the H suboptimal model reduction for singular systems is investigated. An optimal model reduction algorithm is designed for obtaining a stable reduced model. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a stable reduced-order system is given and this criterion can be verified numerically. Also, a numerical algorithm is presented for obtaining such a reduced order stable system.
