  • Abstract
    In this paper a novel Y-source inverter is introduced. The introduced inverter-like all Z-source inverters has the ability to reduce the level of voltage. Besides, it uses an extra winding to reinforce and increase the gain of output voltage. In contrast to other topologies, this inverter has high gain and also resolves discontinuity of the input current in Z-source inverters. The obtained gain can be regulated by changing the turn ration of windings.
