Abstract :
In this paper a DCVM zeta converter is introduced and analyzed as a LED driver. By proper selection of converter circuit elements, almost unity power factor and constant output current can be achieved. Converter operating modes are explained and design considerations are discussed. Also, simulation results are presented which justifies the theoretical analysis.
