Abstract :
Truncation of full length Pseudo Random Noise (TPRN) sequence is gaining attention. Random properties of TPRN have been studied and reported. But no work has been initiated to study the effect on TPRN when it is modulated by Binary Offset Carrier (BOC). This paper examines the characteristics of autocorrelation function for BOC modulated TPRN. Simulation in Matlab has been carried out for this purpose. This paper presents and discusses the observations from this extensive simulation work.
