Abstract :
Satellite bandwidth is scarce resource having multipurpose utility in the area of strategic communication, disaster relief, entertainment and many other fields. Satellite communication is obvious choice in military communication as operations are carried out in difficult geographical terrain. With the growing requirement of satellite communication, optimal bandwidth utilization is imperative. This paper proposes techniques for dynamic resource allocation to improve bandwidth utilization for TDM/TDMA scheme by minimizing sparse scenario created in channels due to varying frequency demands. It also talks about the simulation in order to test the proposed techniques.
