Abstract
The language-oriented context of the paper is terminology, the non-language-oriented context covers the technical failure and fault management with respect to conceptual systems. The conceptual systems refer to the conceptual aspect of structuring "management system". The paper provides a description of the concepts redundancy, functions and purposes, of their mutual relations and of associated concepts, essentially the concept fault tolerance. The means for description are text for both explanations and definitions of concepts and diagrams for taxonomies, partonomies and other conceptual structures.
