  • Abstract
In this paper a dynamic model of the cerebrospinal fluid system is proposed. Starting from clinical observations a new pathogenetic hypothesis is introduced, which explains some kind of hydrocephalic pathologies. The pathogenetic agent is an alteration of the amplitude of the pulsing pressure of the cerebrospinal fluid. Simulations show that the model based on this hypothesis gives reason of the main experimental observations about hydrocephalus pathology.
