Abstract :
This paper presents a decentralized stabilization method for a linear time-invariant system with two interconnected subsystems that are not stabilizable. This design method employs the interconnections between two subsystems, which is the main different feature in comparison with the earlier works. The present method relaxes the condition of the stabilizability of subsystems in the earlier works. The extension to a system with more subsystems can be achieved by a recursive procedure.
