Abstract
Optimal observation using nonlinear observers with saturation-type characteristic is discussed. The main attention is paid to the general principles of optimal fitting of the observers parameters to initially unknown or changing conditions of an experiment. Optimal laws for adaptive adjusting of the observer and examples of corresponding identification equations are presented.
