Abstract :
On basis of the parametric transfer function concept the ordinary frequency response that holds for LTI continuous-time systems is extended to sampled-data systems. The generalization to time-periodic systems also allows a clear physical interpretation, that may be used for the construction of special experimental equipment. Two methods for the experimental determination of the frequency response are given. The methods are compared with respect to their accuracy and effort and illustrated by an example.
