  • Abstract
    An ultrafast machine which works at frame rates of more than 1000 fps is used for various applications in frame motion analysis. The major difficulty is in collecting huge amount of machine data and implement in the processing engine. Hence the designs are very complex and costly. Transient window algorithm is an innovative approach used for extracting the required information from successive frames. In this approach, one image frame is divided into multiple windows such as 16 and in a multi frame period, only one window is send and balance windows are not used. This window is moved as multiple frames from multi frames. This data is super imposed on a complete frame data. Frame motion analysis using window by window can be performed. This algorithm reduces the amount of data sent to the processing engine. This will enable the data from the machine to be ported to laptops for processing through standard interfaces such as USB or Ethernet.
