Abstract
This paper discusses bi-criteria models for animal diet formulation for different stages of livestock. In the first phase of work, linear models (LP) are formulated for minimum cost and maximum shelf life feed. In the second phase of the work, stochastic programming models (SP) are developed to include nutrient variability in the diet models. Besides the standard problem of livestock feed at minimum costs, these models also determines better shelf quality meal for different stages of livestock.
