Abstract :
The use of software operational profile (SOP) increases day by day for reliability prediction, quality assessment, performance analysis and test case allocation of software. However, some problems are observed by software practitioners with the development of SOP as data resources are very limited and large effort is required to convert gathered data into point estimate. Software operational profile plays a vital role in improving the software quality. Therefore, in this paper, an operational profile based approach for software test case allocation using fuzzy logic is proposed. The model is validated with the existing literature. Validation result is satisfactory.
