Abstract
In this paper Image Segmentation and fast Image Reconstruction technique by using Adaptive R + trees is proposed. The bounding box overlap in R-tree segmentation has been overcome in R+ tree to improve and enhance the image reconstruction since no two bounding boxes will have a common region. Each bounding box contains the edges which is found by edge detection techniques and the pixel set is encapsulated in that bounding box. Image reconstruction is done by taking the significant pixels over delaunay triangulation. The result of proposed methodology is compared with the results of other image reconstruction methods.
