Abstract :
This paper presents an improved model for trip attraction analysis in urban area. It is observed that the trip attraction is highly influenced by the available zonal transport infrastructure. The proposed model is implemented using Genetic Algorithms for Delhi urban area, India. The optimization analysis result is found quite satisfactory with validation error being as low as 0.8%.
