Abstract :
Any technological system is aimed to warrant the best efficiency to the customers in terms of quality and reliability. In order to get these conditions, a lot of acts are needed to make efficiency can long endure. These acts are usually based on technology development and methodology improvement so bringing to the “Maintenance Features”. The railway maintenance includes a sequence of activities constantly linked to the rolling stock during all its life cycle, allowing the constant evaluation of the most important parameters, i.e. system availability depending on time, maintenance in advance according established schedules, operating staffs, components substitution, purchase costs and finally environment respect.
