  • Abstract
An essential step toward the development of intelligent and efficient technologies applied to complex systems is to provide self-diagnosing capability. For this to happen, sensors, data analysis, fault detection, and health assessment must be interconnected. This paper discusses on a predictive diagnostic strategy that can be used to monitor the aging of railway power converter units.
