Abstract
Isogeometric Analysis can integrate modeling and analysis into a single process by using CAD model for discretization of analysis domain. In this study, a direct path was introduced to create the analysis domain from the geometrical data obtained from a MRI image of the human brain. The required meshes were created automatically. The electrical field within the brain was estimated using Isogeometric Analysis. The proposed method accurately modeled the internal and external boundaries between different materials. The comparison with the exact solution confirmed the accuracy of this method.
