Abstract :
The impedances of infrared folded dipole antennas are investigated by a numerical near-field analysis technique for extraction of unknown impedance loading infrared transmission line. With additional folds, the impedance of folded dipole antenna could be increased. Different materials of the folded dipole antennas have also been investigated.
