Abstract :
This paper present an experimental study of self excited induction generator used to convert mechanical power to electrical power. The based system configuration of the proposed test bed is composed of the SEIG excited by a three-phase capacitor bank, a DC separated motor used as a prime mover and a loads. In the first part we identify the components of the Per-phase equivalent circuit of SEIG through DC, no load and blocked rotor test. In the second party we study the effect of capacitance speed load on the dynamic behaviours of the SEIG.
