  • Abstract
This paper proposes a two degree-of-freedom (2 DOF) control of a Push-Pull converter to meet the loop robustness goals as well as to shape the output voltage response according to requirement of a standalone photovoltaic system. The design process of the controller is found effective for a 48V to 445V dc-dc converter with push-pull topology. It is basically a Photovoltaic module fed converter with available battery level voltage in the input. The output is controlled at 445 V and expected to produce constant AC from it using a VSI (voltage source inverter). Simulation results for the converter along with the controller, confirm the system to be able to produce a regulated constant DC output voltage even in the presence of considerable perturbation in load current, change in input voltage and change in internal parameters like inductance and capacitance.
