Abstract :
Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLNs) gain a lot of attraction from research community recently. They are characterized by the limit in power, memory, and processing resource of their nodes which make service discovery become more challenge in LLNs. In this paper, we present our research on Service Discovery on Low-Power and Lossy Networks. Several well-known Service Discovery protocols have been analysed and simulated under the Castalia framework running on the OMNeT++ simulator. The simulation results show that the service discovery protocols are needed to be tuned up, and some improvements should be added, in order to make them work well in Low- Power and Lossy Networks.
