Abstract :
Today, most users are looking for applications on demand, technology support, and real-time applications. Location based services (LBS) are an emerging technology which affects business needs as well as customer needs. Applications using LBS serve customers in real-time based on their locations. This paper will study and measure the critical success factors of LBS in Saudi Arabia, a gender analysis has been performed, and since it is a comparative study, a comparison between the results of the study in the United States and the results of the study in kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will be mentioned. As a result of the study it´s been found that gender and cultural differences don´t affect the results.
