Abstract :
Environment sensing and monitoring is noteworthy from many aspects, which one of the most important is urban air pollution. To a large extend, wireless sensor networks responded to this requirement. But with increasing growing number of nodes, Centralized management seems hard. The concept of community sensing have been used to solve this problem, where sensor is controlled by an agent that reports its measurements to the center. The great challenge in sensors system is how to achieve accurate and reliable information from the nodes. Reputation mechanisms are one of the wellknown approaches to create incentive in nodes for honest behaviors. The incentive compatible reputation mechanism motivates the nodes that send honest reports, clearly can obtain higher payoff compared to lying or false reports. Evaluation confirms that proposed mechanism outperforms other reviewed mechanisms in literature.
