Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to interface photovoltaic (PV) system with the three port converter and to analyze the output of the three port bi-directional DC-DC converter. As one of the three ports of the interfaced converter is bi-directional port, the power balance of the system is achieved under different irradiation level. The system has also been analyzed with temperature variations. The detailed modeling and simulation of the photovoltaic system to interface the three port bi-directional converter using MatLab is carried out in this work. Maximum power point tracker (MPPT) is used in port 1 (PV port) so that maximum energy produced from PV is extracted all time.
