Abstract
This paper represents numerical and experimental studies of multimode waveguide Van-Atta array. It is shown that the use of multimode waveguides under certain conditions, allows to expand the angular sector of monostatic diagram of radar cross-section to the maximum possible value of ±450 relative to the normal to the plane of the array. Radiation pattern of the radiating elements in this case is equal to the radiation pattern of the Huygens element. Conducted research has shown good match between the numerical and experimental data.
