Abstract :
This paper considers the double-rank hierarchical model of the geological environment, which is a layered block structure in which blocks which differ from adjacent blocks their electrical parameters are geoelectric heterogeneities of the first rank, and immersed in the blocks of this structure singular sources - current lines of finite length, which are geoelectric heterogeneities of the second rank. An algorithm for determining the equivalent electric moments of these sources for the case, when geometrical parameters are set in advance, is described. When searching for values of electric moments the physical limitations that do not allow these values to be too large in absolute value are taken into account. This algorithm is designed to automate an important part of the process of interpreting the data of the active electromagnetic monitoring. It is used on data measured repeatedly, therefore fixing the geometrical parameters of the singular sources does not create obstacles to its implementation. The bibliography contains a reference of the successful application of the results of such interpretation to the analysis of the stability of the geological massifs.
