Abstract
In this paper, the unify methods measuring the network efficiency for multiclass transportation networks either fixed or elastic demands is proposed. Two decision criterions are used in measuring the network efficiency, namely, time-based decision criterion (TBDC) and monetary-based decision criterion (MBDC). Based on the definition of network efficiency, the approach for ranking the importance of the network components under TBDC and MBDC is developed, respectively. Numerical examples show that the method of measuring network efficiency and the approach for ranking network components is effective.
