NextGEN/SESAR harmonization and collaboration developing universal guidelines

Goal: Harmonize the work and lessons learned between NextGEN and SESAR implementation of ASBU capabilities providing the aviation community common functions, capabilities, best practices and guidance • Objectives: + Develop NextGEN-SESAR Harmonization of common standards and functions • Create a simple systematic process that harmonizes the SESAR/European and FAA NextGen Architectures by: •Defining goals or objectives for harmonization (System functions, performance metrics, functional attributes) • Defining a process to achieve the harmonization • Develop "package" of guidance (to include lessons learned and best practices) for implementation by the global community.
