Abstract :
We demonstrate a 1.92-Tbit/s (160-Gbaud), PDM-64-QAM transmission over 150 km with a net potential spectral efficiency of 10.6 bit/s/Hz. This ultrahigh channel capacity and spectral efficiency were achieved simultaneously with an orthogonal TDM scheme.
