Abstract
We experimentally demostrate a 6.25 GHz grid WDM-PON based on commercially available directly-modulated DFB transmitters driven with a 650mVpp and simplified coherent receivers. The system can support 35 dB distribution network losses and allows the λ-to-the-user approach.
