Abstract :
We developed a 37.5-GHz-spaced 8-subcarrier Nyquist-filtering multi/demulti-plexer with inverse sine compensation using integrated planar optics. We successfully demonstrated super-channel generation/reception with an OSNR penalty of 0.2 dB using the multi/demultiplexers and 32-Gbaud DP-QPSK subcarriers.
