Abstract :
Using a modified uni-traveling carrier photodiode we demonstrate photonic generation of pulsed 1 GHz and 10 GHz signals with peak power levels as high as 38.6 dBm (7.2 W) and 36.4 dBm (4.4 W), respectively.
