  • Abstract
    Tunable lasers are reviewed for colorless ONUs in next-generation access networks. In particular, advanced VCSEL technologies toward athermal and widely tunable operations, ultra-high-speed & low-chirp direct modulation, and ultra-compact modulator integration are presented.
