Wireless dominates among our future connectivity requirements, moving towards speeds greater than gigabits/second. Photonics can provide energy-efficient, scalable and high-speed fronthaul and backhaul technologies, cost-effective network integration approaches as well as competitive optical wireless connectivity alternatives.
