Abstract :
This document presents the heat recovery system of a cement plant in Morocco. The particularity of the plant is that it utilizes a hybrid solution with an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbogenerator. The heat used in the ORC unit to be transformed into electricity comes from both heat recovery from the cement production and from solar collectors through a thermal oil loop.
