Abstract
Galvanically isolated drivers offer a good protection of the control part against EMI caused by the switching transients of the high power electronic devices. The proposed concepts aims to reduce the component count and building height by using one integrated magnetic core for the power and signal transformer. Furthermore, a communication link between the primary and secondary side is implemented allowing communication in both directions. Finally, measurements demonstrate the functionality of the concept.
