Abstract
In this paper, for a quarter-car model, we derive covariance expressions for the MIRA spectrum and calculate the root-mean square outputs for the ISO 8608 classified roads. The derived results are compared with existing works in the literature. We carry out similar calculations for a line spectrum model. The linear and the piecewise-linear spectrum models are also contrasted with the spectrum models delivered by the subspace identification and the compressive sensing algorithms.
