Abstract :
The advantages of Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems can be effectively exploited if there is a suitable level of coordination among available radar resources. For the new generation of Selex ES AESA radar sensors, from rotating radar to AESA sensors suite (for instance made up of two sensors in different RF bands, each composed by three or more AESA panels), a System Manager has been designed, with a modular and fault tolerant architecture, for the management of all the available resources. An end-to-end simulator has also been developed to support the design and for debugging purposes.
