Message from Program Chairs

The ICB 2015 call for papers encouraged submissions in diverse biometrics topics and received 169 submissions from which a total of 76 papers were accepted (corresponding to an acceptance rate of about 45%). While submissions covered many biometrics research topics, most submissions were in the area of Face, followed by Fingerprint, Iris & Ocular, Security & Spoofing and Soft Biometrics, in that order. The accepted papers were organized into oral and poster sessions based on the reviewers´ recommendations, with an eye towards maintaining the thematic integrity of various sessions. This resulted in 31 papers being selected for oral presentation and 45 papers for poster presentation. The two afternoon sessions on May 22 will feature the six best-reviewed papers. Make sure not to miss those sessions!
