Abstract :
We employ wireless chargers that charge the battery of the network nodes in mobile ad hoc networks and we propose two new, alternative protocols that configure the activity of the chargers. One protocol performs wireless charging focused on the charging efficiency, while the other aims at proper balance of the chargers´ residual energy. Towards a more realistic validation, we perform the evaluation, not in a simulation environment, but through an experimental setting of real devices.
