Abstract
The goal of this study was to analyze of the effectiveness of electricity production from the photovoltaic panels (PV) located in selected place of the Krakow city. Analysis was based on the meteorological and anthropogenic data concerning insolation and atmospheric pollutions on the selected area. In order to take into account all the analyzed models and shorten a possible development time, during the analysis we took advantage of the MATLAB/Simulink libraries, which were useful to build a variety of advanced models. The scope of the work was limited to 3 types of solar panels. Based on the research, it was observed, that the photovoltaic panels draw different amounts of energy from solar radiation depending on not only the climate, but also anthropogenic conditions. The observed negative differences are more noticeable in winter time.
